ISO 9000

 

A family of international quality management standards maintained by ISO. The set of standards was developed to help companies document, monitor and improve their quality systems. ISO certification is administrated by third-party registrars and certification bodies. Initially published in 1987, the standards underwent significant revision in 2000.
